Nice pics proving that only in Portland will the homeless and down-and-out will protest anything. This is proven by the fact that Portland's demonstrations were not mirrored anywhere in the nation.
If anything, the turnout for so-called anti-war/peace protests were dismal and a total failure. Some major cities didn't even have more than a couple of hundred - a micro-fraction of their population.
There were more youths in Spain ("tens of thousands") that went on a mass drinking binge this past weekend than "peace/anti-war" protestors in our entire nation.
So much for the liberal's attempt to portray a "growning" public anti-war movement huh, LOL.
Actually, I heard on the radio this morning that about 10,000 people attended the rally today. I'm pretty sure that not all of them were homeless. There were also demonstrations across the country in Hollywood, San Francisco, New Orleans, Washington D.C., I'm sure there were more cities than that participating, but I only had time for a quick glance at MSNBC. While true that it seems that the anti-war movement seems anemic at best, I believe that the sentiment among average citizens is steadily growning against the war.
